ROW80 – Round 1 – Check-in #9

Time for Wednesday’s ROW80 progress update.

Writing Goals:

  • Complete outline of WIP
  • Write 1750 words a week, on average 250 words a day (can be on WIP or other writings like flash fiction, character development, world building etc)
    225 words so far – slow this week
  • Finish James Scott Bell book
  • Read 2 other writing craft books

Social Media Goals:

  • Blog – post 4 times a week
    3 down – 1 to go
  • Blog – post ROW80 progress reports twice a week (Sunday and Wednesday)
    Wednesday – done
  • Tweet/Comment on at least 10 blogs a week
    Done
  • Comment on 1 new blog per week (ROW80 or otherwise)
    Not yet…

Healthy Lifestyle Goals:

  • Cardio – 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday)
    1 done – 1 scheduled for tonight
  • BowFlex – 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday)
    1 scheduled for tonight
  • Maintain a daily food/migraine journal
    Done!

    • Hi Tui – thanks so much for swinging by and commenting. It’s wonderful to meet a new row80 friend. Isn’t the group ahhhmazing! I know…it’s such a supportive and wonderful environment. I hope you become a regular! I will definitely be over to visit your digs shortly.
      I love the BowFlex. Now, I am not sure if I’ll have the commercial results “with just 20 minutes, 3 times a week” LOL but I do enjoy having a weight/resistance training equipment at home. I also love the smoothness of the movement so you aren’t lifting from a dead weight. But, that’s just me. 🙂

  3. It’s good to see that you have ups and downs, like all normal people. I decided not to go to the gym today because I was too tired. I’m actually proud of me for listening to my body.

    • HAHAHA!! I sure do! Did you see the shambles I made of last round. LOL!!
      Yip, slower week as I am pondering more about my character – working out some kinks.
      So glad you decided to listen to your body – we all have to do more of that! 🙂

  4. You and I need to encourage each other to find more writing time the rest of the week. I had a slower writing week, too. Otherwise, you did great. Hope the writing muse forces our butts in the chair this week. (Actually I’d like mine to just push everything else in my brain out!).

    • Girl, you are planning a freaking EVENT!! How you’d get in two minutes to even think about your WIP is beyond me. LOL!! Yes, we will definitely have to do an encouragement to squeeze in some writing time…Here’s to the muse and our butts in chairs!!!

  5. OK, so you’re not on FIRE with all that damn snow falling (and who would be, I ask ya!??!) but you’re definitely sparkly! This is great progress and I’m so impressed that you do your check-ins on both Wed AND Sun. Woot-woot! 🙂

    • You are right, it’s hard as all get out to get any kind of a fire going with all this darn snow!!! I’m working on my sparkle baby!! LOL!! Yes, a lot more progress than last time and even I am impressed. LOL. All thanks to your gentle, yet highly effective, kick in the pants! Woot woot!!

  6. You did great! Even if it was a bit slow, you are still in there swinging! Me, I’m going back to remedial and starting over again. Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans. Personally I think I’m going to take life out behind the woodshed this weekend!

  8. Natalie, it looks like your moving along with your plans. My week was slow but now that we’re back in town I plan to get back on track Sunday. I want to thank you for your voice in our wana711 group and your work to get us all connected on Triberr which I’m still unable to do but I’m working on it. You’ve invested a lot of time on us and I appreciate you.
