ROW80 – Round 1 – Check-in #3

Time for Wednesday’s ROW80 progress update. Keeping my updates, especially Wednesday’s, short and sweet this round.

Writing Goals:

  • Complete outline of WIP
  • Write 1750 words a week, on average 250 words a day (can be on WIP or other writings like flash fiction, character development, world building etc)
    454 words so far – on track for this week
  • Finish James Scott Bell book
  • Read 2 other writing craft books

Social Media Goals:

  • Blog – post 4 times a week
    3 down – 1 to go
  • Blog – post ROW80 progress reports twice a week (Sunday and Wednesday)
    Wednesday – done
  • Tweet/Comment on at least 10 blogs a week
  • Comment on 1 new blog per week (ROW80 or otherwise)

Healthy Lifestyle Goals:

  • Cardio – 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Saturday)
    Monday – done and scheduled for tonight
  • BowFlex – 3 times a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Sunday)
    Postponed to tonight
  • Maintain a daily food/migraine journal
    Done – super surprised I am sticking with this!

    • Thank you so much Karen – here’s hoping! It does feel great. This week was a bit harder, my energy feels a bit lower but I am sticking with it regardless so that’s a great win for me. 🙂

  7. Great job, Natalie! It sounds like you are on top of things. Are you finding the novel flow better now that you are writing parts?

    • Woot woot!
      I am not entirely sure yet Barbara. I am working just on character development right now trying to see where that takes me, how it plays it out, and see what it shows me about the story so there’s still a long way to go. So far…it’s nitty gritty details. But everything is perculating so…I’m excited to see where this takes me! 🙂

  9. Excellent work! Are you seeing any patterns with your food/migraine diary?

    • Thanks Bridgette. Not yet but I’ve only had one and I think it was an over exercise/tweaked neck wrong issue. But so far, no real connection. I’ve got some theories to test out in the months to come. It’s a long process of trial and error but it’ll be worth it if I can find something that helps!!
