ROW80 – Round 4 – Check-in #13

It’s time to update you on my ROW80 progress. You can find a list of my goals here.

Work In Progress Goals:

  • 1.5 hour on WIP (goal: 5 hours/week)
    • Hubby was fahhhbulous this week (as he is every week….). I needed to bounce some ideas around so he took me out for a relaxing dinner and we brainstormed about a final book idea to run with. It was just what I needed.
  • My ROW80 Sista, Nancy J. Nicholson wrote a fantabulous post yesterday (hope you all go read it) so I commented on that and I fired her off a check-in email this morning.
  • I reported on my ROW80 goals one on time

I am ready to take my idea to the next level this weekend and flush out some meat around it so I can start applying the James Scott Bell exercises to it.

Blogging Goals:

  • Blogged 3 days (4 posts by this afternoon) including this post.
  • Read, commented, retweeted/tweeted on over 15 blogs.

Had a GREAT week blogging. My Monday post got the most attention I’ve had yet! Thanks to everyone for visiting, commenting, and tweeting the heck out of it! And to Jenny for stumbling it…wow….I’ve been simply blown away!

How is your ROW80 progress going thus far?

  1. I love brainstorming with my hubby too! He likes the same kind of movies and books I do, so it’s easy to tell him my ideas and get some ideas from him 😉
Nice going, Natalie! I’m happy you are on track and kicking your wip’s butt!
    Keep it up 😉

  2. Big kudos on your steady progress and commitment, Natalie! Way to rock the ROW!

  3. Nancy J Nicholson says:

Natalie, you are a gem! Thanks for the blog love and being a GREAT ROW Sista! You’re doing an excellent job. I love bouncing ideas off the Captain. He gives such a great perspective and is a springboard for some awesome ideas.

  4. 90% of my ROW80 progress is happening with my pillow right now, but the good news and bad news is I started 6 days of steroids, which gave me enough relief from the pleurisy to sleep. Woot!

    • Damn phone.

I brainstorm with my hubby too, and he’s awesome at it! I’m with Barbara…you are way rocking the ROW!

      • LOL! Gotta love “smart” phone, eh?!
Woot woot on the steriod and getting some sleep. I am sure that helped a TON!!! Glad to hear you are finally on the mend girl.
Gotta have those supportive people to bounce stuff off of. We are lucky ladies. 🙂

  5. How awesome you can bounce ideas off your hubby! Mine is supportive of my writing, but he wouldn’t know what to do with a conversation like that. And glad to hear you’re feeling better and moving forward. Good luck!

  6. My husband doesn’t read fiction. But sometimes he has the most amazing ideas!

It sounds like you’re making good progress. Good luck on continuing with your goals!

  7. Awesome progress, Natalie!

I’m a bit envious of you being able to brainstorm with your hubby also. Mine, if you look up practical in the dictionary, and then cross reference it with no-nonsense, you will see his picture. Not the best audience for a fantasy romance. ;o)

Anyway, I’m glad you are doing so well, and I’m even more glad I’m back in the loop and can check in on you!

    • LOL – I can just picture your hubby now! RIOT! It’s too bad he isn’t the brainstorming type…here’s hoping you have a circle of other writer friends etc that you can bounce ideas around with.
Yeahhh…she’s back!! I’ll be over to visit your digs sometime today/tonight to check in! I hope the conference for work went GREAT!!!
      Natalie 🙂

It sounds like you’re rolling right along, Nat. Have a great rest of the week, and keep Rocking The ROW!!! ~clink~

  9. What a lovely week, Natalie! Glad you have a writing buddy with your hubby. Simply the best way to go. . . 🙂

Have a great rest of the week!

  10. Another great check-in, Natalie! Keep on ROWing!

Don't be shy...tell me what you think
