ROW80 – Round 4 – Check-in #7

It’s Wednesday morning and it’s time to update you on my ROW80 progress.

So let’s go to it! You can find a list of my goals here.

Work In Progress Goals:

  • BIG FAT ZERO on WIP
  • Had a great email with my ROW80 Sista – Nancy J. Nicholson about doing what you can when life throws you a curve ball. Or in her case, a busy waterway.
  • I reported on my ROW80 goals on schedule.

As suspected, the week’s insanity caught up with me and I didn’t get anything accomplished towards my WIP. Sad but I am ok with it. I know the next two weeks are gonna be crazy so I’ve accepted it and moved forward. I’ll do what I can and get back to going hard after Nov 4.

Thanks to everyone for your fahhhhbulous words of encouragement on this front! I really appreciate it.

Blogging Goals:

  • Blogged 3 days (4 posts as of later today) including this post.
  • Read, commented, retweeted/tweeted on over 15 blogs.

Got a few posts in the Wednesday folder plumped up. Gotta do some for Monday’s and Tuesday’s.

And….exciting news….guess who’s going to GUEST POST soon…thasss right…HUBBY!!! Stay tuned…

How is your ROW80 progress going thus far?

  1. Life is full of surprises and curve balls come along all the time … breathe in and out, shake it off, and re-plan your goals if necessary 😉 We’re here to keep up encouraged!
Soon it’ll be Nov 4 and you’ll be able to go back to your WIP … hang on!

  2. Alright! We finally get to hear the hubby speak, er, write! How fun!

Great job on all your social media efforts, and keeping your focus on the bigger goal with your WIP instead of letting the busy days/weeks discourage you.

    Yeah, you!

  3. Oh, dear. How do I know that one! Don’t worry, Natalie, you WILL get back on track. Sometimes it’s even good to fall out of the routine because it is a big kick in the butt. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you, sista.

  4. Nancy J Nicholson says:

I know it doesn’t feel like it but you should be very proud of what you’re accomplishing. I’m sure your “thinking” about the WIP even if you’re not doing anything on the computer. Padding the blog inventory is great. Just writing the goals gets some accomplished by osmosis. Great work!

    • This is true. The WIP is actually on my mind a LOT! 🙂 I am always thinking, brainstorming and coming up with ideas. I keep my blackberry handy and take notes as well so yes, even if I am not sitting down and invested straight hours, I am not letting it slip entirely to the waist side but I can’t WAIT to get back to my exercises! LOL! 🙂
Woot woot – thanks Nancy! 🙂

  5. Ditto. You’ll get back on track.

  6. It’s so frustrating to have that writing stoppage when life interferes. But getting back on track is the key, and you are clearly going there. Hope this next week is a great one for you! (By the way, I like the look of your blog and your tag line.)

    • Thank you so much Julie!! I am determined. This work event always takes over my life when it comes up and it is very fulfiling but always glad when it’s behind me for another year. LOL! And tks on the blog compliments – woot woot – totally made my day! 🙂

  7. Natalie, great attitude. It’s all about the long haul, right? Good job on the blogging, that’s as tough as WIP some days. Look forward to hubby post! ~Kate

    • Kate, you rock! I really appreciate you swinging by and leaving such an encouraging comment. You are so right, it is all about the long haul! 🙂 Hubby already sent me a draft to review. LOL! He’s so cute. He asked when he could do his next guest post – he’s already got another idea lined up. LOL!

  8. It’s always irritating when life gets in the way, but it happens. You’ve got a great mindset, and I know you won’t have any problem getting back on track. Good luck!

  9. Natalie, take time to enjoy all of the insanity in your life. One thing you will come to understand is that your WIP will be with you for a long time … possibly much longer than you originally invited it to stay. There are times it will feel like a really annoying not-particularly-loved houseguest that just. won’t. leave. At other times it will be the most loved part of your life (besides Hubby and The Dude, of course). Roll with it. I know you will.

  10. Good luck with everything! And then come November 4th, you can take a deep breath and have some fun with your WIP! Sometimes, life just has to happen, but the nice thing is that, when it’s done, we can appreciate the time we get to work on our stuff all the more! That’s how it usually is with me, anyway.

So, like I said, best of luck to you and I hope you have a faaahhhbulous week. : )

    • You are so right. It’s does teach such great appreciation for the time we do have to devote to our passion. Love that!!
Thank you and have a fahhhbulous week as well! 🙂

  11. Yep, life happens. But you know you will get back to the WIP when time permits. That is good enough. Take it easy and go with it. And the guest post sounds fun 🙂

  12. A huge well done on all the progress. I got ill last week and hardly wrote but I’m just trying to focus on the current days. The WIP will be there when you’re ready to get back to it. :O) xxxx

    • Thank you Laura! 🙂 Ouch on getting ill – that sucks but glad you are on the mend and getting back on the WIP…you are so encouraging and I really appreciate it. Here’s to accepting that our best (at anytime…sick or busy) is good enough! :)))

  13. What’s great about ROW80 is that now we are all aware of where the time goes, where the energy vamps are. But things happen and you’ll get back on track and it’ll be better than before!

  14. For a gal in the middle of a busy work project, you are SMOKIN’ HOT on your ROW80 progress. You should be very pleased with yourself. You keep truckin’ along…your goals are just fabulous. And you know, if you keep meeting them so well, there’s gonna be a pink, sparkly bit of Fun Fur at the other end for you, courtesy of your #pantypeeps!

    • Well now…how’s THAT for motivation!?!?! I am FIRED up girl and ready to rock harder than ever cause I am dying for a treasure from the #pantypeeps (long live the #pantypeeps)! 🙂 Thanks sooo much for the encouragement and the confidence buidling…Jenny…YOU ROCK! MUAH…xoxox

  15. You’re still blogging, you’re still awesome, you’re doing great!

Can’t wait for hubby’s guest post. O.M.G. What will he blog about?

  16. Natalie, I’m so glad to see how positive you are! It’s difficult when things stand in the way of what we *really* want to do, but hang in there — the WIP will be waiting, and you will have many new ideas to add!

Can’t wait to read your hubby’s guest post. 😀

Don't be shy...tell me what you think
