Welcome to Urban Word Wednesday! New words, phrases, and sayings I am learning (and using in my day-to-day life) brought to you by ME…and the Urban Dictionary. You are gonna love these!
Bubblytude (Noun) a state of being lively, animated, excited or full of high spirits.

Examples Of Use:
Y’all have seen hubby’s footage of my Canadian Tire dancing, right?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well the antics continued last night. Hubby and I hit Costco and Sobeys last night to pick up some foodies for over the holiday season (cause y’all know what happens when I bake). For me, there is nothing funner than shopping for yummy treats and tasties for the holiday season. It puts me in an over-the-top kind of mood.
Hubby and I enjoyed this convo while I was moon walking and doing the running-man up the aisles. I totally made a spectacle of myself…and loved every minute!
Hubby: you got the best shopping dance moves…should I take another video for your fans?
Me: I think one video of me dancing is quite enough for the fans.
Hubby: shopping certainly agrees with you.
Me: something about it just puts me in a bubblytude kind of mood.
Hubby: there’s nothing sexier than you with a bubblytude!
Me: don’t I know it…you know what else puts me in a bubblytude?
Hubby: what??? And I’ll be sure to get more of it.
Me: Jenny Hansen…she’ll be guest posting tomorrow on something quite naughty…something too naughty for More Cowbell (as if such a thing existed)…squeeeeeeee
Hubby: oh God….I better brace myself….
Me: if I know Jenny…it’ll have us in fits of giggles…I can’t wait! I’ll be dishing some dating dirt on her blog.
Hubby: you two are incorrigible…I can’t wait!
What gets you in a bubblytude? Come on…share the wealth…
Love it! I’m all about the bubblytude, baby! Now I’m super curious what Jenny’s got up her sleeve for tomorrow… or should I say up her mundies?
It’s bubblytude every where. Love it!!
I know…squeeeee…I can’t wait either! LOL!
Whoooo-eeeee, we’re gonna party at Nat’s place tomorrow!!!
LOL, love it, Natalie! You’d be so much fun to go shopping with! I’ve become a sedate old lady
but I remember in high school, a friend and I enjoyed pretending we were foreign-speakers when we went out shopping, and had some crazy accents and conversations. How goofy, right? But so fun…
Can’t wait for your blog-trading tomorrow! Who knows what happens when we put you two gals together? As my 11 yo says: yet another sign…(of the Mayan apocalypse, that is).
OMG Kathy – that sounds fabulous. Hubby and I will have to try that out. ROFL!!
Ohhhhhh it’ll be good…thasss for sure!
I had no idea where you were going with this…I swear I read “bubblytube” until I got halfway through your conversation. I think I’m not awake yet. “Bubblytude” made perfect sense after my eyes started reading the correct letters! LOL. What a great ‘tude to have!
Well…you just never know here. LOL!!!
It is a GREAT tude to have…BAM!
That is a great state to be in! I would love to see a special term for dancing in store, though. I’m sure you could coin an uh-mazing phrase that I would enjoy using on my shopping adventures. I, too, have been known to dance in the aisles. It makes everything more fun. And, like Diana, I was confused when I first saw the word. I kept reading it as bootytube. But that was probably just me.
Awesome idea Emma. I will set out on just such a search!!
Bootytude…well I guess if you saw my moves, you’d likely say I had some of that going on too…LOL!!!
Cannot wait for tomorrow’s dose of More Cowbell! You guys are blog site swapping I guess. Interesting.
Traveling puts me in a bubblytude attitude. I love to travel. I get all giggly and silly and . . . well . . . let’s say I my bubblytude on. Fun, fun word! I’m gonna use this one a lot.
AWWWWW!! That’s fab Patricia…
Unfortunately, I can get pretty cranky when travelling cause I get stressed. Gotta learn to relax and channel my bad-ass-grocery-shopping self. LOL!!
Use and abuse it baby!
That tire store dance is stellar.
Even more hilarious? He put it on YouTube. (You poor thing…you LIVE with your own papparazzi.)
I am a superstar…I can’t help it! They follow me everywhere I go and can YOU blame them?!?!
ROFL!!!
When bubblytude hits the dictionary, I full expect a photo of you next to the entry. Love it!
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
I love that Julie…THANK YOU!! MUAH!!
I like bubblytude…but for darned sure shopping won’t put me there. Especially this time of year, visions of mowing over rude people with my shopping cart dance in my head. That or seeing if my aim has gotten any better as I lob cans of veggies at their heads.
I’m going to say that good music puts me in a bubblytude state of mind. Anything from Beethoven to Aerosmith, depending on my mood.
Loved the video! Why doesn’t Scott have more up on his YouTube channel? We fans need more!
Gotta find out why I’m not getting emails for so many bloggers. You need to start posting the notifications on Facebook…or I need to start spending enough time on that site to see if I’m missing anything. Hmm. Yes, I’m so tired I can hardly keep my eyes open…MAJOR airhead moment going on right now.
LOL!! This time of year, we share in your visions Kristy. I actually had to break down into a low whoop whoop to get hubby smiling…If I didn’t have my bubblytude on, it was going to get dangerous. LOL!!
Music totally does it for me to.
Ohhhh…he’s got plenty on file. I’ll have to give him the go-ahead to load em’ up! LOL!! He’s got an old ATVing one that’s a RIOT!
Hmmmm….blog post material perhaps.
Seriously?! Weird. I usually don’t put my posts on FB but I will certainly start girlie…I would hate for you to miss a moment of fun.
I think I hit a state of bubblytude when I’m exhausted… but I still have a ton of fun! LOL
I hear ya Tiffany…that’s when I get downright CRAZY! LOL!!
You are SO bubblytude-ical! Perfect post and photo.
Thanks for the light you bring into the world, Natalie. So grateful to know you! Happiest holidays to you and yours. <3
And we are so grateful to have gotten to know you August…MUAH! Happy holidays to you and yours…xox
Fun, fun and more fun. Yesterday and at yet another doctor’s appointment I was telling Tom about your Wed blog and urban word conversations — I apologize for not doing them justice. As usual — the doc was running late and before I realized what was happening, several individuals in the waiting room were listening in on Tom’s and my conversation. Quick – I needed your business cards to hand around. It was a sell out crowd to a captive audience:) It’s the first time I’ve had fun waiting to see the doc.
OMG I love it Sheri!! LOL!!! I should send you some business cards to have on hand. Totally MADE my day…thank you!! LOL!! And I am sure you did them much justice my friend…
May we all catch your bubblytudeiness!
That video of you dancing…I love it!!!
